JSC "Transmashholding" began to supply the components for Alstom
JSC "Tsentrosvarmash" (the subsidiary company of "Transmashholding", Russia) signed a contract and began to supply for Alstom the weldments Bolster B20 used in bogies of subway cars of Metropolis in Panama (Central America).
The three-year contract involves the supply of 350 units of Bolster B20 that is sufficient to equip 175 subway cars. It is expected that supplier will be supply 29 units of weldments to customer before the end of this year.
JSC "Tsentrosvarmash" became the first of five subsidiary companies of "Transmashholding" where Alstom specialists conducted a technical audit for compliance with Alstom requirements.
In addition to the Panamanian project and cooperation with Alstom, it is expected that JSC "Tsentrosvarmash" will supply the oil tanks of traction transformers cooling system for KZ8A freight electric locomotives assembling at LLP "Electrovoz Kurastyru Zauyty".
